WebMD Makes It To Android Smarthhones, Available For Download In The Market



WebMD, everyone’s favorite online medical database has made its way to the Android platform.  With 95 million unique visitors per month, it’s no wonder the site has been a major trusted source for individuals and medical personnel all over the globe.  Well, now you can have that same medical advice right in the palm of your hand.  WebMD offers a symptom checker to easily diagnose most problems on the spot.  Just enter the part of the body effected, type in the symptoms you’re exhibiting and a list of potential problems will be displayed before you.  There is a ton of medically reviewed information in the app that can quickly and easily be accessed from your mobile device while on the go.  See information on various conditions, drugs, treatments and even pill identification.  There are first aide tidbits like what to do when you’re confronted with poison ivy or when you’re stung by a bee.  You can also take advantage of Android’s speech to text capabilities by speaking your inquiries directly into your device.  Find local health info and use Google Maps to get you there.  In addition, you can also share the pertinent info with important family and friends if you have to.  Ready to give the app a try?  Head on over to our apps database where you’ll find the download along with a QR code.  You can also head on over to the Android Market to snag the download from there as well.  Hit the break for more screenshots and a plethora of info from the developers themselves.
