Need another way to quickly navigate through your applications? We hear ya. Check out SwipPad for Android. The app has been out for a while but it’s recently received an update, making it a decent contender in the launcher department. The app allows you to seamlessly set a point on the edge of your screen and then “swipe” your finger towards the center, launching a “pad” of your 12 favorite applications to move between. The functionality is great because you can perform it no matter what application you’re currently running. Easily rearrange shortcuts or remap slots with ease. Ready for the download? Head on over to our apps database with QR code and all or check it out on the Android Market. Don’t forget to hit up the video below too to see the app in action.
1. Touch down a pre-set edge of the screen;2. Move your finger towards the center of the screen so the pad will emerge;
3. Release your finger on a specific slot to action.
Hold your finger on a specific slot for 2 seconds before releasing (until it turns orange), then you could change the assignment.
